Survivor 50 — Manhattan, New York
The Survivor 50 Activation in Manhattan, located in front of Moynihan Train Hall, was truly a build to remember.
We had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Avenge Creative, owner Eric Tremble, and the entire Avenge team to bring this activation to life. From fabrication in Southern California to delivery and installation in the heart of Manhattan, this project was already something special — and then Mother Nature decided to add a challenge of her own.
During installation, Manhattan was hit with a major snowstorm. Trucks were delayed in New Jersey, transportation slowed to a crawl, and suddenly an already demanding installation became a race against weather and time. But that’s where 1822 Sets, Scenery & Rentals Inc. does what we do best.
We didn’t panic. We found solutions. We adapted. And we got the job done.
After long hours, a lot of teamwork — and not much sleep — the activation was completed and ready to go. The event came together beautifully and became an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. This project was a perfect example of what happens when creativity, craftsmanship, teamwork, and determination come together.
Survivor 50 was definitely one for the books.
